NURSERY 2026

Thank you for considering the Nursery at Outwoods Primary School for your child. I am extremely proud to be the Head Teacher at Outwoods Primary and to work with a dedicated team to provide the best education and life skills for the children in our care. All of the children are known to our staff and all staff members are well known by our children. Our ‘Outwoods family’ is caring and supportive of other members; we believe in and encourage others to believe in themselves and together we aspire to be the best version of ourselves that we can. – Mrs Joanne Cutbush Headteacher

Admissions Consultation

The Central Cooperative Learning Trust is obliged to consult on admission arrangements every seven years.

This is whether we plan to make any changes or not. We are consulting across all schools in the Trust this year, however, in Outwoods Primary School there are no plans to change the admission arrangements.

However, if you feel that you wish to comment on our current arrangements and the admission authority to take any suggestions into account, please contact us on enquiries@outwoods.staffs.sch.uk

The Voices of our Parents....

It is always difficult when sending your first child to their first school and wondering if it is the right decision. What helped me make that decision was the feeling I felt from everyone at Outwoods; a caring environment with every child at the heart. Crucially for me, I valued that the teachers value their relationships with their pupils and ultimately my child. I now have three children at Outwoods!    Mr A

Our daughter loves the varied challenges that the professional and friendly reception team prepare.  Coupled with the daily updates via Tapestry we can track her objectives and confidently develop her learning.  It’s been a pleasure to see how engaged and inspired she’s been in her first term at school, learning new skills and developing her reading and mathematics at an impressive pace.   Mr B

My son started in Reception at Outwoods last year.  The way he has grown, especially in confidence is fantastic. The teachers are brilliant; they make it such a fun learning experience.  Mrs M
