Special Education Needs and Disabilities
As our school Inclusion Policy explains, our aim is to raise the aspirations, expectations and progress leading to achievement for all pupils with SEN or a disability. This is the responsibility of every member of our school staff but we have a passionate school inclusion team, consisting of Mrs Jaclyn Taylor, Mrs C Preston, Mrs J Hunt, Mrs V Larking and a team of SEND Teaching Assistants who specifically support those children with SEND in the classroom. Mrs Taylor, Mrs Hunt and Mrs Larking also offer emotional support for children who may be experiencing some difficulties.
We all work very closely with families and offer support and advice.
Click here to see our Inclusion Policy.
We have a comprehensive inclusion team who each offer a jigsaw piece of our inclusion offer.
Everyday key members of our Inclusion Team are outside to meet and greet pupils as well as be available for parents. We pride ourselves in our partnership with parents and hope that we can be of support to all of our families if they ever need us.
Please email enquiries@outwoods.staffs.sch.uk if you feel that you would like to speak to one of our team.
Please see our interactive ‘School Information Report’ for answers to the frequently asked questions around support and accessibility for those with special educational needs or disabilities.
