Young Voices 30th Anniversary Concert
Our pupils recently had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Young Voices concert in Birmingham, and what a memorable experience it was! We have enjoyed being part of Young Voices for many years and were especially proud to perform in their 30th anniversary concerts.
In the weeks leading up to the concert, we had weekly rehearsals, teaching the children the songs and dance moves with great enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see pupils’ confidence grow week by week as they were daring to learn new routines to perform as part of a huge choir (5934 children) in front of a large audience. Their commitment and positivity truly shone through.
Excitement was high on the day of the concert, and it certainly did not disappoint. We were incredibly proud of their behaviour, performance and attitude throughout the day; they showed great responsibility in representing our school. We shared the experience alongside our fellow trust schools, which made the event even more special and strengthened the sense of teamwork and community. The children were ambitious throughout the rehearsals and were striving to give their very best performance. Well done to everyone involved — a truly unforgettable event! 🎶✨
